The scope of work entails replacing the floor mounted urinals in washroom WR-M 109 due to known sanitary plumbing concerns. Oxbow P.S. is a single storey school constructed of steel beam and column structure, a concrete slab on grade and concrete block walls. Existing interior finishes feature original terrazzo flooring, terrazzo coved base, glazed porcelain wall tile, painted block and exposed painted metal deck ceilings. Replacement includes removal of the urinal podium and floor mounted fixtures; removal of terrazzo floor to extents indicated on drawings to permit sanitary modifications, construction of a new stud wall to provide new wall hung urinals complete with polished wall tile to finish. Flooring at areas where the concrete slab are to be patched will consist of terrazzo patch, and new porcelain floor tile.
