The project area of work defined by this Contract is in Stevenson, WA, along Cascade Avenue between Russell Avenue and the Cascade Boat Launch. Work includes replacing approximately 1,224 linear feet of aging water main with new 8-inch HDPE water main by way of pipe bursting, asbestos cement pipe removal, water service replacements, and appurtenances; construction of approximately 973 linear feet of new 12-inch PVC sewer main, 34 linear feet of 6-inch force main, sewer services, and appurtenances; and construction of approximately 82 linear feet of 8-inch PVC storm sewer main and catch basin. Work also includes traffic in another way if the best interest of the City is served. All work on this project will be subject to state prevailing wage rates. The City of Stevenson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City..
