Contractor: provide, maintain adequate protective coverings, barricades about work which might be injured during construction; keep same in repair throughout entire work; responsible for injury, damage resulting from his operations. Protect existing sidewalks, pavements, curbs, lawns, adjacent property during construction. Restore to conditions existing prior to construction, any damaged parts, areas. Except as otherwise specifically stated in the contract documents, the contractor shall provide and pay for all materials, labor, tools, equipment, water, light and power to expedite the work and transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities of every nature whatsoever necessary to execute, complete and deliver the work within the specified time, for work shown on drawings and/or specified in the specifications.
