**As of June 30,2025, the project was awarded to Srokowski Construction, with an awarded amount of $665,351.93.** The Bidder's proposals shall reflect all labor, equipment and materials required for the construction, according to the documents and specifications on file in the office of the Lorain County Metropolitan Park District, 12882 Diagonal Road in LaGrange, OH 44050. The project consists of construction of a 14-car gravel parking lot and approximately 1.5 miles of gravel trail at Sandy Ridge West Reservation, at 7020 Case Road in the City of North Ridgeville of Lorain County, OH. Scope of work includes but is not limited to performing site demolition and clearing of vegetation; performing earthwork for trail and trailhead pavements; furnishing and installing gravel trail and parking lot pavements, two pedestrian bridges, landscaping and miscellaneous site amenities. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, for the full amount of the bid, written upon an acceptable surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio; or A certified check or cashier's check made payable to "Lorain County Metropolitan Park District" or a letter of credit meeting the requirements of Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount. Bid guaranties of all unsuccessful Bidders will be held until a proper contract is entered into or until all bids are rejected, as the case may be, and will be returned immediately thereafter. Any cashier's check, certified check or letter of credit submitted by the successful bidder will be returned upon the Bidder's execution of the Contract Documents, including an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond. The Board intends to award a contract to the lowest and best bidder whose bid is submitted in accordance with the requirements of these bidding documents and does not exceed the funds available for the Project. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any technical deficiencies or irregularities in bids.
