Question Cut Off Date: 08/20/2025 at 10:00 PM CT. Questions must be submitted online. No questions will be answered over the phone or through email. It is the intent of the City of Pearland to enter into an agreement with one or more bidders to provide labor service for removing and replacing the existing span wire, in accordance with the specifications provided herein, for the following six (6) span wire traffic signals: 1. Broadway at Cullen, 2. Broadway at FM1128, 3. Broadway at Harkey, 4. Broadway at Galveston, 5. Broadway at Sherwood, and 6. Broadway at Westminister The Contractor will provide labor services for the following: 1. Replace all span wires with the same configuration as existing. 2. Replace all signal cables. 3. Replace all signal heads (to include Left Turn signals, all arrows, and flashing yellow arrows). City to provide new MMU if needed. 4. Replace or add pedestrian signals (countdown). 5. Replace or add pedestrian buttons (Polara Navigator APS) and provide a programming module & CCU. 6. Replace luminaries, if not L.E.D. 7. Remove the opticom cable system. 8. All signs are to be replaced. 9. Camera systems and radio systems will be replaced. 10. Program and test units for proper function. All services must be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Nightly work can be performed with prior approval from the Traffic Operations Department.
