**As of June 11, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on June 17, 2025.** Carnegie Roof Replacement for Marion Public Library The contract will be awarded to the provider of the lowest responsible and responsive bid; however, price will not be the sole basis upon which a selection is made. Failure to provide allinformation requested, or supplying information contrary to thespecifications, may result in disqualification. Marion Public Library reserves the right to clarify information or request additionalinformation. The work required for execution of the complete contract will be let under one (1) General Contract. Work must be completed andinvoiced by August 22nd, 2025. Project scheduling must beapproved by Owner prior to start of work. This Invitation For Bids, however, may be reproduced, published, posted, and distributed by secondary entities. A Financial Responsibility bond or certified check shall be filed with each bid in an amount equal to 10% of the total contract price,including any/all Options. The bond/certified check shall be made payable to: Marion Public Library. All bonds/checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned upon selection of successful bidder. Bonds/checks of successful bidders shall be held until completion of project and approval of final payment is made, or until delivery of a performance bond (if required). No bid may be withdrawn or modified after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after date of bid opening. Bids received after the hour and date above will not be considered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities of the bidding. Terms stated herein, or in the Project Manual, supersede any terms stated in submitted Bid documents or elsewhere, unless agreed to in writing by both the Owner and the Bidder/Contractor.
