The work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and supplies necessary to rebuild or install new catch basins or any other related work incidental to the repair of the drainage infrastructure. Repair or new installations of catch basins will consist of removing and properly disposing of the old asphalt, excavated material, and basin material, building or rebuilding the basin with block and installing frame and grate to the proper elevation. The basin backfill will be properly compacted and left down four inches below the existing roadway elevation to accept asphalt patching by the Town. The Town will provide the location for the disposal of materials as specified by the Director of Public Works or his designee. The Town of Lexington requests the following work be completed: Catch Basin Repairs for the Department of Public Works. The initial term is for a twelve month contract from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. A contract for one year plus two additional (1) year options will be awarded for a potential 3 year contract. The Town reserves the sole right to extend the contract. Prices shall remain firm for the entire period of the contact with the exception of any escalation clauses on the bid pricing sheet as itemized by the Town. The Town of Lexington reserves the right to reject any or all bids and award the bid as may be determined to be in the best interest of the town. Project Catch Basin Repairs. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it's in the public interest to do so.
