Phases 2 and 3 encompass a comprehensive water resource development initiative. This involves the establishment of additional wells, the construction of a dedicated well filter building, and the integration of equipment for comprehensive treatment. The project also includes the construction of pipelines essential for conveying well water to a new treatment facility, strategically positioned adjacent to the existing surface water treatment plant. Beyond the wells addressed in Phase 1, this proposed facility will have the capacity to treat the Jeffries well and at least two other fully developed wells on the Aberdeen property. The approval process involves securing approvals from both the Virginia Department of Health and Loudoun County, to ensure an adequate supply of drinking water for the Town's customers through the construction of the Short Hill Wells Ground Water Treatment Plant. As of May 15, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Improvement Program (CIP). *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
