Renovation of an educational facility in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Mount Royal University (MRU) is seeking an ARCA Roofing Contractor to replace roof sections S01 and B05. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Removal and disposal of existing roofing down the structural steel deck at roof area S01 and structural concrete deck at roof area B05. Demolition at roof area S01 includes the removal of lightweight concrete topping to expose the structural steel deck. Supply and installation of new 2-ply SBS roofing assembly, including base and tapered insulation, roof penetration, upturn and drain perimeter details as described in the Drawings and Specifications. Construct new curbs at roof penetrations and new sleepers to support ductwork. Removal of existing sheathing on parapets, and replace with plywood. Supply and install prefinished metal flashing and sheet metal, complete with all fasteners, cleats, sealant, etc., as described in the Drawings and Specifications. Supply and install new drains and insert drains as shown in the Specifications. Replace any broken concrete pavers at the roof areas in scope. Complete cleaning and repainting of gas lines.
