The Worcester Housing Authority (WHA) is soliciting bids for on-call and/or emergency electrical services to both Federal and State properties. A list of all WHA managed properties (with federal and state designations) is contained herein. The term of this contract shall extend for three (3) years or Not to Exceed $100,000, whichever comes first. The tentative start date is July 1, 2025, contingent upon full execution of the contract. Bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount that is not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the proposed contract total. Bid deposits, payable to the Worcester Housing Authority, shall be either in the form of a bid bond, or cash, or a certified check on, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by, a responsible bank or trust company Bids shall be sealed with the name and address of the bidder appearing in the upper left-hand corner of the envelope and properly labeled: "Sealed Bid IFB # 25-22 On-Call Electrical Services". Further, all bids shall be submitted as one ORIGINAL and one COPY. WHA is not responsible for bids not properly marked. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the contract total ($100,000). The VP of Procurement reserves the right to reject bids that are incomplete, not properly endorsed or signed, or otherwise contrary to these instructions as being informal. Conditional bids will not be accepted. The Worcester Housing Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in any or all bids, or to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, if it be in the WHA and public interest to do so All questions or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing 7 days prior to opening by email to purchasing@worcesterha.org.
