The scope of the contract involves cleaning and evaluating condition of the cleaned wastewater treatment plant process units and lift station wet wells to determine necessary repairs and rehabilitation. The cleaning work includes the removal and loading of approximately 5,000 wet tons of solids from aeration basins/aerobic digesters, 5,000 wet tons from other process units, 500 wet tons from process units with fine bubble diffusers, 2,100 wet tons from lift station wet wells of varying depths, 200 wet tons through hydraulic dredging and screening or dewatering methods, and 1,200 wet tons of floatable solids through vacuuming. The work further encompasses the transportation and disposal of approximately 14,000 wet tons of removed solids to the City identified landfill and mobilization of needed resources for the installation, operation, and maintenance of bypass pumping systems to manage the City' provided dry weather peak flows, and the provision of all related services required for solids removal, loading, transportation, disposal, and condition evaluation.
