Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Osceola, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Demolition of existing bridge and construction of a new 23-8 span by 9-3 rise aluminum box culvert, 27 - 3 long, on concrete spread footings with aluminum headwalls and wingwalls. Along with the structure replacement, minor roadwork and incidental work will be done in accordance with plans and specifications. The project is located on County Road NW 1301 over a tributary of Monegaw Creek, in Sections 28 & 29, Township 39 N, Range 28 W All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The St. Clair County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 5% MODOT - County Road NW 1301 Bridge Replacement
