A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Iron Ore Heritage Recreation Authority is seeking bids for the construction of the ''2022 MDNR Trust Fund Development Grant #TF22-0040, Iron Ore Heritage Trail - Extension to Lakenenland'' that includes the following major items of work: o 4.4 miles of aggregate surface trail construction, clearing and grubbing, culverts, concrete parking lot, and other related work. The Iron Ore Heritage Recreation Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids at its discretion. No bid shall be accepted unless accompanied by a bid security payable to the Iron Ore Heritage Recreation Authority in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. State or Federal funds are being used to assist in construction and relevant State or Federal requirements will apply. State prevailing wage rates will be required for this project.
