Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Saint John, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University of New Brunswick's (UNB) Information Technology Services Department (ITS) is in the process of a multi-phased network upgrade project and is seeking proposals for the Supply & Installation of Fibre Cabling on UNBSJ Campus. Per Schedule 1 - Technical Requirements, this project will have new fibre cables installed across the majority of buildings located on the UNB Saint John campus (see Schedule 2 - Technical Drawings). This phase of the project will require the installation of a fibre trunk (144-fibre). The 144-fibre trunk will run from Hazen Hall (HH) to the Hans W. Klohn Commons Building (Commons) and passing through a second data centre in the Canadian Rivers Institute Building (CRI). All fibres will need to be terminated at both ends as well as the CRI, a total of 576 terminations. Five (5) fibre splice enclosures will be required at designated points on the main trunk. Fibre will be required to be installed for eighteen (18) buildings. The physical path for these runs already exists. Questions Due Date: Jun 2nd 2025, 4:00 PM ADT
