The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is requesting quotations to provide fire suppression system inspection, maintenance, and repair services in accordance to the LBPUD needs and/or fund availability. Fire suppression systems to require inspection, maintenance, and repair service shall include overhead sprinkler systems, fire alarm panels, fire hoses, private fire hydrants (water hydrants/mains), pre-action units, bell sounding, smoke alarms and pull stations at three LBPUD campus locations. The services shall consist of the following, but is not limited to: Quarterly test and inspection for the automatic fire sprinkler system. Semi-annual pre-action/ deluge sprinkler system detection and control system. Annual fire alarm test and inspection for entire facility fire suppression system. 5-year private fire hydrant inspection. Troubleshooting. Repairs. Tests and inspections will be completed quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. Unless specifically directed otherwise, test and inspections shall be completed at LBPUD Water Operations Service Center - 1731 E. 33rd Street, Long Beach, CA 90807, LBPUD Groundwater Treatment Plant - 2950 Redondo Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90806, and LBPUD Gas Campus - 2400 E. Spring Street, Long Beach, CA 90806. The contract shall be for a term of one (1) year.
