Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Camden, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
A. The new Multi-Agency Center (MAC) building in Camden, NJ is a single-story, 8,125-squarefoot facility developed for Camden County to provide essential services to the community. The building is divided into two distinct occupancies--a B-Use wing and an A-3 Use wing-- separated by a 1-hour fire-rated partition. The B-Use wing includes five hoteling offices, administrative offices, a computer room, laundry facilities, support spaces, and restrooms. The A-3 wing features a multipurpose room, a warming kitchen, and associated support areas designed for flexible community use. The facility will be fully sprinklered. The project also includes a new paved parking lot and a stormwater management basin to support site infrastructure. B. The extent of the contract work is indicated in the Contract Documents. 1. Local custom and trade union jurisdictional settlement do not control the Scope of Work. C. The Contractor shall employ his workers for overtime work if required to meet the completion dates, at no additional cost to the Owner. D. The scope of the work shall not be limited to what is specifically called out on the drawings or specifications but shall include any and all selective demolition as well as any cutting and patching as may be required to accomplish the intended construction. Bin access is 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM only. The County assumes no responsibility for delays in any form of carrier, mail or delivery service causing the bid to be received at the Division of Purchasing later than the above-referenced scheduled opening. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1999, c. 238 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 to 57), where applicable. All bidders are responsible for obtaining complete bid documentation from online. In the event of any inconsistencies between this advertisement, as published, and the bid documentation, the bid documentation shall control. Prospective bidders are advised that the Project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA).
