Cattaraugus Community Action is soliciting bids for asbestos ABATEMENT per EPA and NYS requirements, as required prior to demolition and disposal of client's old mobile home. The above referenced property was tested by Michael Baker International, Inc. and was found to have asbestos containing material (ACM) in vinyl flooring in one room. The flooring material will need to be abated as per NYS code and EPA standards. A copy of the asbestos survey report will be supplied via email upon request. The bid is to include labor and material costs, as well as a proposed start date, all work done under HUD CDBG programs are tax exempt. Winning bidder will need to coordinate with the mobile home installer who will perform the demolition on the unit post abatement. Contract term: 3 month It is the responsibility of the bidder to contact the Agency or refer to the County's Website to determine if any addendums are issued. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid determined to be in the best interest of the County.
