Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Bids are invited for the construction of a two-story concession building. The work includes foundation, plumbing/electrical rough-ins, walls, roof trusses, roof decking, and door/window installation. The project is located in the CITY OF GULFPORT, HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. The Harrison County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and to award said bid in the best interest of the City. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bidsfor the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. All Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of The Harrison County Board of Supervisors, Mississippi, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, must be submitted in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. All Bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a prime or subcontractor to do any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance or related work, must comply with Section 31-3-21, Mississippi Code of 1972, by having a current Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Public Contractors. The scope of work for this project shall require a Contractor to be classified in the following category: Building Construction.
