Renovation of a library in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,000-square-foot library.
CR Number: 2125108 The City University Construction Fund (CUCF), on behalf of the City University of New York (CUNY) and through CUNY's Office for Facilities Planning, Construction, and Management (FPCM), is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Queen's Hall Library Renovation Project at Queens College. This project encompasses the transformation of approximately 22,000 square feet of existing library space on the lower and first floors into contemporary office suites. CUCF invites bids from firms with demonstrated experience in the above. Contractors must show their technical expertise, ability to manage regulatory approvals, and capacity to complete the work efficiently and in compliance with all requirements. CUCF will assign the Minority-owned and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation goal of up to 30% (18% MBE and 12% WBE) and the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned participation goal of up to 6% for each task order issued under a requirements contract. MWBE and SDVOB requirements are set forth, respectively, in the solicitation, however CUCF expects firms to fully comply with NYS Law and Executive Orders to achieve the maximum amount of MWBE and SDVOB participation on this contract. All questions pertaining to this procurement must be submitted in writing via email to CUNY.Builds@cuny.edu Only New York State (NYS) MWBE and NYS OGS - SDVOB Certified firms shall be utilized to meet the participation goals. The Contractor and subcontractors at all tiers are strongly encouraged to utilize the Directories for the New York State Certified MWBEs and SDVOBs to identify eligible firms to fulfill these goals. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 18% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 12% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Overall Budget Expectation: $7-$9.8 million *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
