The Project consists of all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals in performing all operations in connection with lowering and raising manholes and valves along 4.35 miles on SR 74 beginning west of McManus Road and extending west of Canton Street Question Deadline 06/17/2025 at 10:00 AM ET All bid questions must be submitted to the Owner. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid, prepared on the form of Bid Bond that is part of the Contract Documents, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570. Bidders must comply with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation Requirements specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder shall affix to the outside of its Bid envelope the Bidder's Georgia Utility Contractor License Number. A license number of a Utility Manager or a subcontractor is insufficient, and any Bid that fails to affix to the outside of its Bid envelope the Bidder's Georgia Utility Contractor License Number may be rejected. The successful Bidder for this Project shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, satisfactory to the Owner, each in the amount of 100 % of the Contract Price.
