The supplier will provide a HVAC master mechanic, mechanical helpers, fume hood technicians and controls technicians who are qualified to work on all phases of HVAC maintenance as described in Section 1 to LSU Facility Services. Work to be performed shall primarily be maintenance type work and minor construction. The HVAC master mechanic, mechanical helpers, fume hood technicians and controls technicians are to be furnished on an as needed basis and are to work under the supervision of Facility Services. Facility Services will make daily work assignments, inspect work, coordinate work with other University personnel, and check time slips of hours worked to be turned in daily by the HVAC crew. The supplier shall have at least one master Mechanic and fume hood technician available for LSU work at all times. The supplier shall be a licensed commercial contractor in the state of Louisiana with the classification of Mechanical Work (Statewide). A general contractor's license will NOT be considered acceptable. All suppliers must be qualified under the Contractor's Licensing Law, Title 37 Louisiana Revised Statues, where the cost of work isfifty thousand ($50,000) dollars or more. Proper licensure will be verified by the University at the time of award. All required licenses must be active at the time of bid submission. Each HVAC master mechanic and controls technician must possess a refrigerant license. Upon request, the supplier shall to show proof of refrigerant licenses. HVAC master mechanic, mechanical helpers, fume hood technicians and control technicians will be scheduled by LSU Facility Services. Manpower requirements will be scheduled no later than 72 hours after request, but it may be necessary to occasionally schedule emergency work on shorter notice. Supplier shall be able to provide two to four experienced workers of each designated type for any given period of time as the University's needs dictate. Failure to schedule manpower after 72 hour notice may result in the cancellation of this contract. All or None - Bid shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive supplier for all items. Supplier warrants that the products furnished will be in full conformity with the specification, drawing or sample, and agrees that this warranty shall survive delivery, acceptance, and use. Any defect in any product may cause its rejection. LSU reserves the right to test products for conformance to specifications both prior to and after any award. Supplier shall bear the cost of testing if product is found to be non-compliant. All rejected goods will be held at supplier's risk and expense, and subject to supplier's prompt disposition. Unless otherwise arranged, rejected goods will be returned to the supplier freight collect.
