The base bid of this project consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials required to rehabilitate existing sanitary sewer mainlines by the installation of cured in place pipe (CIPP). The project includes the cleaning and lining of three (3) 10-inch sanitary sewers with lengths of 245 feet, 265 feet, and 260 feet. Also cleaning and lining of sixteen (16) 8-inch diameter sanitary sewers with lengths of approximately 330, 295, 190,195,215,215,225,310,200,220,280,255,210,415,170, and 255 linear feet, for a total of 4750 feet. Hydrophilic end seals shall be installed at the end of each liner. In addition, furnishing all equipment, labor and materials required to clean, remove roots and reinstate sanitary laterals. Bid Security: Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Town of Dyer or an acceptable bid bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Bonds: A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, will be required upon award of the contract. No bidder may withdraw her or his proposal within a period of 70 days following the date set for receiving bids. The Dyer Water & Sanitary Board reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 70 days and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Board further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any Bidder, all to the advantage of the Dyer Board of Sanitary Commissioners.
