Questions Due Date: Jun 10th 2025, 3:00 PM CDT The City of Brownsville seeks competitive sealed proposals to establish a contract for Design-Build Services in accordance with the specifications contained in this Request for Proposals (RFP). In particular, the services requested herein and to be provided under any contract(s) awarded as a result of this RFP are for the: Neale House Relocation and Stabilization, 230 Neale Drive, Brownsville, TX 78520 The City of Brownsville (COB) is seeking to procure the services of a qualified individual or firm to provide Design-Build services for the relocation of the Neale House, a Recorded Texas Historical Landmark (1962). The undersigned BIDDER further agrees to complete the project and achieve substantial completion/Delivery within 180 Consecutive Calendar Days submittal from the date of Commencement/shipment, unless such time is extended by the City of Brownsville and that one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per each consecutive calendar day will be the measure of liquidated damages assessed the undersigned for each calendar day in excess required to complete work and/or delivery under the contract for each portion of the project. The Design-Build Contractor shall submit a daily report to EPMO's team with pictures showing progress. In addition, the Contractor shall submit a comprehensive project completion report to the City of Brownsville upon finishing the relocation of the Neale House. This report will include a detailed project narrative outlining the key phases and activities, accompanied by photographic documentation capturing the exploratory work, the relocation process, and the installation of the building at its new location at Linear Park. The report will serve as a record of the project's execution, highlighting the steps taken to preserve the structure's historical integrity and ensure its successful transition to the new site.
