Renovation of a municipal facility in Forsyth, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project includes the removal and disposal of current shingles, gutters, and fascia and the replacement with a 26-gauge standing seam metal roof system, including insulation underlayment, ice and water guard on valleys and eaves, valley flashing, end wall flashing, drip edge, sidewall flashing, and ridge cap. New fascia and 6-inch seamless guttering with 3x4 downspouts installed. Questions regarding the bids should be submitted in writing to Ryan Raleigh, Director of Planning and Zoning, at rraleigh@forsyth-il.gov or by phone at 217-433-3096. The Village of Forsyth reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder without disclosure for any reason. Failure to make such a disclosure will not result in the accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any Bidder against the Village. Bids shall not include a federal excise tax or state sales tax for materials and equipment to be incorporated in, or fully consumed in the performance of, the work. A Tax-Exempt Certificate will be furnished by the Village of Forsyth on request of the Bidder, for use in connection with this purchase only. The selected bidder will also be required to comply with Illinois and federal law applicable to a public works project, including the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
