Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the amount of $52,000.00. The Guarantee shall be in the form of either a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check payable to The School District of Palm Beach County. All Bidders must be licensed pursuant to Chapter 489 Florida Statutes. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing for receipt of Bids for a period of 60 days. The Board or its designee reserves the right to waive minor technicalities and irregularities in all Bids. Existing building roof systems to remain. Clean and prep existing roof system per industry standards and local regulations as they apply in preparation to receive a new modified bitumen roofing system over 1/8 asphaltic board. Install new mechanically attached 1/8 asphaltic board through existing roofing system and into existing metal deck. For building #5, remove all gravel, install 1 polyiso insulation board before a 1/8 asphaltic board. Install 118 mil base sheet on asphaltic board. Install torch applied 15 mil modified bitumen cap sheet. Replace all drains, downspouts, collector boxes, scuppers, pipe flashings, surface mount, counter flashings, wall copings, roof hatches and safety railings per industry standards and manufacturers guidelines. Install new overflow drains to outside of tilt up walls, to cow tongues per industry standards.
