Site work for a civil project in Stuart, Virginia. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of August 07, 2025, the project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** Improvements to the existing Water Treatment Plant (WTP) backwash recycle system which includes: demolition of the existing equalization basins, installation of a new equalization backwash tank, 5100 LF of 4-inch sanitary sewer including two directional bores under the South Mayo River and Poorhouse Creek, and demolition of the existing outfall. Document Notes - Information and Bidding Documents for the Project will be available the week of May 19th and can be obtained by contacting the Engineer David Ross, PE. Documents will be sent in PDF format, and prospective bidders will be placed on the plan holders list. All further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are provided in the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office following the Pre-Bid Conference on June 3rd.
