Mr. Stephan Strong-Davis, in conjunction with the County of Humboldt, is requesting bids for repair to the single-family residence [manufactured home] located at: 3433 Middlefield Lane, Eureka CA 95501 Background: The County of Humboldt is making an Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation loan to the homeowner. The homeowner will contract with the selected bidder; however, invoices will be paid by the County. The County has inspected this property and drafted the Scope of Work below for an estimated cost of $62,000. Homeowner will anticipate bids being approximate to this amount. This project is exempt from State and Federal Prevailing Wage requirements. Contractor must be licensed in good standing and provide evidence of insurance. Contractor must have or obtain a Unique Entity Identification from online. The Performance Guarantee will be a holdback of ten percent (10%) of the total contract price to be held by the lender until the Owner signs the Notice of Completion. Hold back is deducted from each progress payment request.
