Scope of Work Houston County is seeking surveillance camera system equipment and installation at the Houston County, TN Jail, located at 3330 Highway 149, Erin, TN 37061. This project involves the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a complete surveillance camera system for Houston County Jail. The system is intended to enhance the security and monitoring capabilities of the premises. The project objectives are to monitor critical areas within and around the facility, deter unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism, and provide high-definition video recording for incident review and investigation. Specifications for the type of surveillance camera system equipment and installation required are included in the attached document. Site Survey & Design o Conduct a site assessment to determine optimal camera placement. o Design the camera layout including field of view, lighting conditions, and cabling routes. o Select appropriate camera types (e.g., dome, bullet, PTZ) based on location. Equipment Supply o 40 IP Cameras (Indoor & Outdoor, with IR/night vision) o Network Video Recorder (NVR) up to 30 days recording o Server / Hard drives (for storage as per retention policy) o Power supply units (including PoE switches or adapters) o Monitors for viewing o Cables, connectors, mounting hardware Installation o Mount cameras securely in designated locations. o Route and secure cabling (Cat 6 or better cabling) o Install NVR / Server in a secure, ventilated location. o Connect all components and power sources. Configuration & Integration o Configure IP addresses and camera settings (resolution, frame rate, etc.). o Set up recording schedules and motion detection zones. o Integrate with existing network infrastructure, if required. o Set up remote viewing capability via mobile/desktop apps. Testing & Commissioning o Verify field of view, image clarity, and night vision functionality. o Test storage, playback, motion detection, and remote access features. o Provide system demonstration and basic user training. Documentation & Handover o Provide system layout diagrams and camera locations. o Submit configuration documentation, warranty information, and user manuals. o Handover keys, login credentials, and backup admin access
