Reference Number 0000293935 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/06/04 03:00:00 PM NDT ENGINEERING CONSULTING FOR EXTERIOR LIGHTING REVIEW VAR-504-23 Memorial university has a variety of exterior lighting standards spanning over multiple campus's and over 300+ acres of land, including; parking lots, exterior gathering places & walkways. Memorials existing light standard's range from 10 to 30ft in height, and have been converted to LED. Scope of Project Memorial University is seeking a qualified consultant to complete both a structural review & exterior lighting review at the following campus locations Ocean Science Centre (Appendix I) Botanical Gardens (Mt Scio Rd) (Appendix J) Signal Hill Campus (Appendix K) St Johns Campus (Appendix L) Health Science Centre (HSC) Complex (Appendix M) The five (5) site review's will be grouped into two separate reports as listed below; Exterior Lighting Report 1: Ocean Science Centre, Botanical Gardens, Signal Hill Campus, St Johns Campus. Exterior Lighting Report 2: HSC Complex Each report is to be inclusive of the following deliverables; Report of existing conditions of the exterior pole lighting Catalog of all exterior lighting fixtures (including pole lighting & exterior building lighting) to be submitted to owner in excel format including; Fixture type Operating voltage Lumen level Color temperature Mounting height Pole type Pole height Base type Structural deficiencies of existing pole lights. Assessment of existing campus lighting design to optimize pole and replacement strategy. Assessment should take into account alternative designs such as the use of additional building Lighting or solar designs. An economic analysis should be a part of the assessment considering upfront capital cost as well as potential energy savings. Provide typical light pole, lamp, and foundation design drawings (in AutoCAD & PDF format) for various applications intended for internal or external construction and installation. Ideally this would provide 2-3 structural base designs with corresponding pole heights. Additional consulting and/or contract administration services may be required and will be completed on a per diem basis. Please submit a schedule of rates with your proposal.
