If necessary, the City will communicate adjustments to any event in the Schedule of Events in the form of an amendment. This project consists of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) communication and traffic signal upgrades including various equipment upgrades such as network switches, traffic signal controllers, traffic signal cabinets, closed-circuit television (CCTV), video imaging vehicle detection system (VIVDS), flashing yellow arrow signal heads, etc. at the City of El Paso Traffic Management Center (TMC) and various intersections on the east side of the City of El Paso, Texas. Completion- 240 working days Provide vehicular, emergency vehicle, and pedestrian access at all times, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, to the user. This access includes, but is not limited to, driveways, streets, parking areas, walkways, materials, work and equipment required to provide access to buildings. This work shall be considered subsidiary to the various bid items. Schedule and perform all work to ensure proper drainage during construction or maintenance operations. All labor, tools, equipment, and supervision required, to ensure drainage, removal, and handling of water shall be considered incidental work. Repair any existing pavement, utilities, structures, etc., damaged as a result of construction operations, at no additional cost to the City of El Paso. Maintain all Contract items until final acceptance of the project. The Contractor shall label all proposed equipment in all existing hub cabinets and proposed cabinets to show ownership of equipment within cabinet. Submit copy of the final as-built plans to Capital Improvement Department Project Manager prior to final inspection/walkthroughs; additional comments may be generated upon review and follow up inspection(s) from As-Built Drawings.
