The County of Sonoma is pleased to invite you to respond to a Request for Proposals for Public Health Lab and Coroner's Office (Project) Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment Moving and Coordination Services. The County of Sonoma Public Health Lab and Coroner's Office (PHL & CO) are currently located on Chanate Road in Santa Rosa. The existing facility serves multiple jurisdictions across Northern California but is limited in terms of space, ventilation, and electrical capacity. With the lease set to expire in December 2026, the need to construct, relocate, commission, and occupy a new facility is time-sensitive. The new building, located on Paulin Drive in Santa Rosa, will co-locate both departments to better support operational needs. The County has hired COAR Design Group to provide complete design services for this project and Whiting-Turner Construction Company as Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR) to deliver this critical public facility. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held to walk-through of the Public Health Lab to assess the existing FF&E and chemicals that need to be relocated to the Project site: 3313 Chanate Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95404 at 10:00am. Proposers will be required to submit any and all questions in writing per the schedule in order for staff to prepare written responses to all consultants. Written answers will be shared with all potential bidders through an addendum on the County's Supplier Portal and email notification.
