Site work and paving for a civil project in Emmett, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The work shall consist of the following in accordance with the "IDAHO STANDARDS for PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION MANUAL" (I.S.P.W.C.) 4" A/C MAT to be pave first with a 2" mat, and then a 2" mat at the following locations; Wills Road: Approximately 600 tons of Asphalt as described. Approximately 1,300 feet in length X 25 feet in width. Don Street: Approximately 200 tons of Asphalt as described. Approximately 420 feet in length X 25 feet in width. Plum Street:Approximately 300 tons of Asphalt as described. Approximately 650 feet in length X 25 feet in width. Haw Creek Circle: Approximately 700 tons of Asphalt as described. Approximately 1500 feet in length X 25 feet in width. The Contractor Shall Provide Material Testing and Shall Be in Conformance With the "manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices" (Mutcd). The Contractor Shall Provide Gem County Road & Bridge Department With Scale Tickets as Each Truck Arrives at the Project Site. Bidders Are Encouraged to Visit Each Location Prior to Bidding. Each Bidder is Required to Provide a Bid Surety in the Amount of 5% of Their Bid. Failure to Include the Bond or Check Made Payable to Gem County Will Result in Rejection of the Bid. Performance and Payment Bonds for the Full Amount of the Bid. The Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds May Be in the Form of a Cashier's Check, Irrevocable Line of Credit, or a Bond Made Out to Gem County. Also, Evidence Shall Be Presented That the Successful Bidder Has Liability Insurance. Gem County Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids Received and Without Re-advertising to Let a Contract for the Entire, or Any Part of, the Proposed Project to Any Person at the Terms Which, in Its Judgement, Are the Most Advantageous for the County. Completion Date Shall Be Prior to September 30th, 2025.
