Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Lindenhurst, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Rainbow Senior Center New Wall Ductless Units Install and Upgrade Electrical. This project may be funded in whole or in part with Federal Community Development Block Grant funds. All federal requirements under this program will be strictly adhered to. It is the policy of NYS to encourage the greatest possible participation of minority and women-owned business enterprises in State-funded projects. The General Contractor, by bidding on the contract, acknowledges his/her understanding and support for this policy and pledges to fully cooperate with the Village of Lindenhurst in meeting Federal and NYS requirements as set forth in the Bidding and Contract Documents. The Village of Lindenhurst has been and will continue to be an equal opportunity organization. All qualified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) suppliers, contractors and / or businesses will be afforded equal opportunity without discrimination because of race, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual preference or Vietnam Era Veterans status. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond each for 100% of the amount of the Contract. The Village Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids it deems necessary in the best interest of the Village Taxpayers.
