Question Acceptance Deadline May 30, 2025 02:00 PM EDT Reference Number 0000294092 Pricing Lump sum Study required of asphalted parking surfaces and concrete curbs as they are at the end of their effective life-cycle. Significant deterioration of pavements and curbs observed throughout the site caused by weathering, freeze/thaw cycles and wear & tear pose a H&S risk as there are a large number of slip, trip and fall incidents at this site. Study to provide recommendations to replace and/or resurface asphalt and replace concrete, over a phased plan based on criticality, to maintain asset integrity and mitigate H&S incidents. Recommendations must comply with the latest versions of the National Building Code and CSA B651 Accessible design for the built environment. Study to include a review of all traffic/directional signage and recommendations of layout/placement throughout the site, taking in to consideration bilingual/FIP design standards. Additionally, it has been identified that the replacement of damaged underground conduit and wiring is required to maintain adequate lighting at the exterior of the building. Study to identify condition of cabling and recommended replacement of underground cabling coinciding with the removals/installation of the asphalted surfaces. Class D estimates to be provided for all recommendations. Consultant to complete a review of viable locations to expand on the heated snow melt pad pilot and complete a review of associated drainage/runoff/interceptor requirements to existing catch basins, as well as the necessary electrical requirements to the pads including class D estimate.
