This specification provides guidelines for issuing Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) to one or more vendors for Electrical Services at Alachua County facilities. These services include routine maintenance, emergency repairs, upgrades, and new installations. The goal is to ensure that County facilities--including offices, public safety buildings, courts, and community centers--remain safe, energy-efficient, and operational. All scheduled and emergency work will be assigned through FlowPath, the County's work order system, which will be used to issue, track, and manage individual task orders throughout the contract period. This document outlines service expectations, communication protocols, licensing requirements, and documentation standards vendors must follow during the term of any issued BPO. Generally the term will begin on October 1, 2025 and continue through September 30, 2026 unless earlier terminated as provided herein. The county has the option to renew this annual BID for two additional two year-periods at the same terms and conditions outlined here in. The vendor may choose not to renew with the County provided we have written notice ninety days prior to our fiscal year starting in October 1st for each term renewal.
