Project The project consists of the repair and replacement of various roof types within DCR facilities in Eastern and Central Massachusetts. Roof types include asphalt shingles, slates, membrane or standing seam roof and associated tasks including snow guards and snow removal. This is a work order contract, and specific locations will be assigned throughout the duration of the contract. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Work of this Contract encompasses providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for repair and/or replacement of all types of flat roofs (replacement with EPDM or modified bitumen), asphalt shingle roofs, standing seam metal roofs, and slate roofs located at various Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) facilities statewide. These projects are anticipated to be short duration projects authorized by a Notice to Proceed on an individual Work Order basis. The Department reserves the right to execute re-roofing work under other stand alone contracts for facility improvements. The applicable local women workforce utilization percentage is a minimum requirement of 6.9%. The Commonwealth requires participation of Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises ("VOBE") on its construction projects. The Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise benchmark for this contract is 3.0%.
