A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Estimated Cost: $24,052,535.00 Bid Deposit: $601,538.00 Question Deadline 06/16/2025 If any prospective Bidder is in doubt about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents, that person may submit their inquiry in writing using the Q&A feature in Bid Express 450 Calendar Days with procurement activities starting within one (1) week of Notice to Proceed and with construction substantially complete by December 31, 2026. The proposed Work includes the procurement and installation of (10) new passenger boarding bridges and associated fixed walkways, demolition of (4) passenger boarding bridges, and relocation of (7) passenger boarding bridges. Relocated passenger boarding bridges will be relocated to Concourses C and D from Concourse A. Passenger boarding bridges will include new and relocated PC Air, GPUs. New foundations with anchorage to be installed for several new and relocated passenger boarding bridges and associated walkways. New electrical services to include electrical panels, switchboards, disconnects and transformers. Each bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's or Treasurer's Check of a Bank or Trust Company in the City of Saint Louis, payable to the Order of the City Treasurer, or a Surety Bond approved by the Comptroller, for the amount of Deposit required, as heretofore stated. If submitting a paper Bid Bond or Check, the original must be submitted to the Board of Public Service (Helen Bryant, Room 301 City Hall, 1200 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103) prior to bid opening, and a scanned copy must also be uploaded to Bid Express with the bid. All Work under this contract will be paid based on monthly estimates of the Work completed, less a retained amount of five percent (5%). Final payment, including all retained percentages, will be made within ten (10) days after completion of all Work and final acceptance by the City. Proof of DBE project goal attainment shall be submitted at bid opening and documented on the DBE Utilization Plan Packet. If the Bidder fails to meet the participation goals, the Bidder must make a Good Faith Effort to meet the participation goals. The Bidder must abide by Title VII of the Civil Rights act of 1964 and the prohibition of contractors from discriminating on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Contractors are also prohibited from discriminating against applicants or employees because they inquire about, discuss, or disclose their compensation or that of others, subject to certain limitations. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10 - Hour Occupational and Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to be completed by their onsite employees within 60 days of beginning work on the construction project. The right of the Board of Public Service to reject any or all bids is expressly reserved.
