Provide Addition, East Wing - Stand-Alone PHASED Contract Q & A Deadline 06/06/2025 02:00 PM EDT The New York State Office of General Services Design and Construction Group (D&C), on behalf of the New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs (DMNA), is seeking Letters of Interest from qualified architectural/engineering firms to provide consulting, design, bid, and construction phase services for the Addition, East Wing project located at the NYS Military Museum and Veterans Research Center, 61 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY. Term: Five (5) Years MBE Goal: 15% WBE Goal: 15% SDVOB Goal: 6% Firms are expected to provide high-quality architectural, engineering, and civil/site/environmental design services needed to construct a 9,200 SF, two-story addition to the New York State Military Museum. Assignments may include but are not limited to the following: - Architectural, MEP engineering, structural/civil/site engineering, fire protection/fire alarm engineering, landscape design, acoustic design, and electronic security telecom/data systems design. - Museum expertise is preferred but not mandatory. - Minor requirement of elevator design, signage design, and commissioning services. - Hazardous material investigation, and design services for the remediation/removal of such materials as part of the work of this contract. - Minor requirement for site and archeological surveying. - The Firm's team shall include qualified persons with door, frame, and architectural hardware experience. - State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) coordination support, including requested studies and submissions. - Compliance with the latest building code including review of work done by others for compliance with applicable codes. - Completion and acquisition of all necessary permits and approvals required, including, but not limited to, State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), and utility companies or municipalities.The CONSULTANT will assist in all aspects of compliance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). - Application of energy efficient, resilient, and sustainable design in compliance with the initiatives and requirements laid out in New York State Governor's Executive Order 22, the Climate Leadership & Community Protection Act (CLCPA), and the NYS Buy Clean Concrete Guidelines. Application may also require usage of NY Stretch Energy Code, Geothermal Networking, Electrification of All Building Systems - Services can be provided by the proposed design team including sub-consultants.
