The Carson City School District (CCSD), Carson City, Nevada Will Receive Sealed Bids for the Following Project, Identified as Carson High School Gymnasium Interior Painting & Tenant Improvement, #51.25.03. Base Bid: This Project Involves Interior Painting of the Carson High School Gymnasium. Painted Surfaces Include Gypsum Board, Perf Metal, Wood, Plastic Laminate and Fiberboard. The Extent of Painting Will Include the Metal Roof Deck, Steel Trusses, Metal Ducting, Steel Handrails, Hollow Metal Doors and Frames. All Existing School Logos Are to Be Removed Prior to New Paint and Existing Wall Padding is to Be Temporarily Removed and Replaced. A New Metal Stud and Gypsum Board Infill Wall Be Constructed at the Stage Opening on the East Side of the Gym. There Will Be a Painted School Mascot and Painted Lettering and Minor Repairs of Gypsum Board and Wood Trim. Add Alternate 1: Install Sound Panels on the East and West Walls. In Lieu of Painting, Colored Sound Panels Will Be Installed at the East Infill Wall and Above the Wood Banding on the West Wall. The Construction Cost Estimate is Base Bid of $42,000.00 and the Add Alternate 1 is $16,000.00 for a Total of $58,000.00. A Representative From Each Potential General Contractor Must Be in Attendance and Sign-in to Be Eligible to Bid. Firms Interested in Submitting a Bid in Response to the Invitation to Bid Must Meet the Requirements of Nrs 338 as It Relates to Eligible Bidders Which Include, but Are Not Limited to the Following Requirements: Be Licensed as a Contractor With Appropriate License Limit and Class, Be Qualified to Bid on Public Works Projects (as Qualified by the State of Nevada Public Works Division), Have Appropriate Bonding Limit and Levels of Insurance to, at a Minimum, Cover the Total Cost of Construction.
