Work generally consists of the following Bituminous leveling and overlay courses, milled paving notches, structural leveling, and sealing as more specifically indicated in Attachment 1- A. Maintenance and Protection of Traffic, bituminous tack coat, milled pavement notches at driveways, intersecting streets and the beginning and end of the project limits, utility adjustments (unless specified otherwise), and seam sealing are incidental to the work. Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be completed prior to September 19, 2025. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: bituminous leveling and overlay courses, incidental milling and sealing. The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding a portion of this project and all materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 in place at the time of bid submission unless otherwise specified. Bidders must be either a PennDOT Pre-qualified Prime or PennDOT Pre-qualified Sub-Contractor for Work Class F. Ryan Township and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received. All BIDS shall be sealed and marked as identified in the project documents.
