*As of August 26th, 2025, the project was awarded to Pave- Rite Inc, with an awarded amount of $270,214.80.** All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the City. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering and installing all materials, equipment and services, including labor for the Work, which generally involves the following activities: For the 2025 CRA District Roadway Project, the work involves resurfacing Hale Street from River Drive to Chestnut Street; Chestnut Street from Hale Street to Cedar Street; Park Avenue from Williams Street to Illinois Street; Park Avenue from Illinois Street to Ohio Street; Ned Love Avenue from the intersection of Delaware Street to 15' into W. Pennsylvania Avenue (the damaged area); and the Parking lot next to firehouse on W. Pennsylvania Avenue (Approx. 9,921 sq/ft). CONTRACT TIME: Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 45 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The City of Dunnellon, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to waive formalities, waive any technical defects, reject any and all bids, and/or accept any bid which represents the lowest or best offer to the City. BID SECURITY: A bid security will not be required for this project. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: The Owner will require that the Contractor furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. All Payment and Performance Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida.
