Work of the contract involves the rehabilitation (blast & recoat) of the City of Nassau Bay 300,000 Gallon Elevated Storage Tank located at 18120 Point Lookout Drive Nassau Bay Texas. he City of Nassau Bay is requesting bids for the 2025 Rehabilitation of the 300,000-Gallon Elevated Water Tank project. The project includes the rehabilitation of the interior and exterior of an existing 300,000-gallon steel potable water elevated storage, and associated repairs and improvements Question Deadline 06/09/2025 Bidders desiring additional information or clarification of technical specifications, plans or other documents must make written requests for such information to the Engineer as the Owner's representative prior to three (3) days before the deadline specified for receipt of bids. PART A: Elevated Storage Tank Mechanical Repairs 1. Replace the upper 3 rungs on the wet interior ladder 2. Replace the two existing square roof access hatches 3. Replace the roof vent 4. Replace the obstruction light PART B: Elevated Storage Tank Recoating 5. Replace interior wet area tank coating per Section 09920. 6. Replace exterior tank coating per Section 09920. Wash tank before each exterior coat is applied, to remove contaminants. Replace coating on all exterior tank piping (inlets, outlets, overflow piping, drain lines & valves) and appurtenances attached to the tank. 7. Replace the interior dry tank coating per section 09920 8. Provide 100% containment of blast media and overspray for all blasting and coating operations due to houses in close proximity. No exceptions. 9. Provide two tank logos as shown on the drawings.
