2025 ADA Sidewalk Project This project shall be completed within 80 calendar days of the notice to proceed. If the project is awarded, the Notice to Proceed will be issued on June 9, 2025. Every bid shall consist of one (1) completed copy of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond or certified check or cashier's check made payable to City of Chillicothe, in amount of five percent of the bid total. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon may be cause for rejection of this bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (Illinois Revised Statues, Chapter 48, Section 395S - 1-12). All questions about the meaning of intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Fehr Graham Engineering and Environmental, 140 East Washington Street, East Peoria, Illinois, 61611, in writing. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of the PROPOSALS will not be answered.
