Site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.

Lead Hazard Reduction for multiple properties: 3003 Girard Ave N 2122 Dupont Ave N 3010 15th Ave S #1 This project seeks to renovate and repair building components in Minneapolis housing. Building components may contain lead-based paint which may cause a health problem for residents. This includes deteriorating or deteriorated lead-based paint, defined in MDH rules (Chapter 4761.0200 Subpart 8) as "...paint that has become or is becoming chipped peeled, or otherwise separated from its substrate or that is attached to a damaged substrate..." and areas containing intact lead-based paint deemed likely to become a hazard in the future. All testing for leadb ased paint was performed by MHD staff licensed through the State of Minnesota. For additional information or questions, contact the buyer. Renovation activities may include but not be limited to, stabilizing areas of loose and flaking paint on interior and exterior walls and building surfaces, replacement of windows,, encapsulation of areas of deteriorating lead paint, replacement or maintenance of building components, floor and deck repair, and minor roof and plumbing repair. Lead Containment and Cleaning (of Floors and Windows) o Containment Clean - Dwelling Unit A. Prior to lead-hazard reduction work, set-up containment, in the dwelling unit and/or work area, according to the Federal Rule 40 CFR 745, Subpart E (Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule). B. Once work is completed, clean the dwelling unit and/or work area, and document the results according to Federal Rule 40 CFR 745, Subpart E (Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule). o Location/s A. Interior rooms (where work is being performed) B. Contractor Walkways o Cleaning Specifications A. Smooth Floors and Window Components 1. Vacuum the area with a HEPA vacuum 2. Wet wash, with a lead specific detergent, using a single-use paper towel or cleaning wipe 3. Follow with a clean water rinse 4. Vacuum the area, again, with a HEPA vacuum B. Carpeted Floors 1. HEPA vacuum with a beater bar attachment 2. Complete two (2) passes going in perpendicular directions 02. Window Replacement - Vinyl, Double-Hung Window Specifications: a. Vinyl window replacements must meet Northern Zone Energy Star(R) Version 6 requirements. b. Window should be Polaris Dynaweld or equivalent manufacturing. c. Remove, package, and dispose ofsashes, parting bead, and inner stops. d. Remove existing rope and pulley system and insulate pockets. e. Install a PVC, one-over-one, double hung, double- glazed window and 1/2 screen. f. Caulk all seams with siliconized acrylic caulk. g. Install inner stops; if original inner stops are reused, edges are to be sanded smooth and nail holes, or dents, puttied. h. Prime and top-coat interior stops with high quality latex or alkyd paint. 03. Window Replacement - Vinyl, Double Hung Window from Swing Specifications: a. Vinyl window replacements must meet Northern Zone Energy Star(R) Version 6 requirements. b. Window should be Polaris Dynaweld or equivalent manufacturing. c. Remove, package, and dispose of inside stops and window sashes. d. Remove, package, and dispose of the center mull and outside stops. e. Install new outside stops around new window opening. f. Install a PVC, one-over-one, double hung, double- glazed window and 1/2 screen. g. Insulate the window perimeter with expanding foam. h. Install a new inside stop. i. Caulk allseams with siliconized acrylic caulk. j. Prime and topcoat allstops with high quality latex or alkyd paint. 04. Window Stool - Replacement Specifications: a. Remove, package, and dispose of stool. b. Install new stool to match. c. Prime or seal/stain, then varnish or paint to match existing. 05. Window Stool - Enclosure Specifications: a. Stabilize surface by wet scraping and HEPA vacuuming. b. Enclose window stool(s) with .019 aluminum trim coil. c. Back caulk all seams with siliconized acrylic caulk to create an airtight installation. d. Owner's choice of pattern, color, and embossing
