Site work for a civil project in Brown City, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes supplying and installing residential water meters and encoders at currently nonmetered locations and installing and connecting transmitters to new and existing meters. Contractor shall also provide and install network management software, train users on software, ensure City can transfer usage data to their existing water billing software and equipment, and related items of work. Question Deadline 06/16/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held. This project will be funded by a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan from the Michigan Department of Environmental, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). Therefore, all contractors and subcontractors must comply with the EGLE Non-Equivalency Projects Contract Boilerplate Language. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The City of Brown City reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Brown City.
