The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth the terms and conditions under which Contractor is to provide trash services. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, trash bins, equipment, travel, and incidentals, and to pay all associated costs, fees (including disposal fees), and taxes, necessary to provide weekly, on call, as-needed trash collection, hauling, and disposal services as described herein. As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is committed to meeting the State's twenty-five percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB) and Contractors willing to commit to subcontracting a minimum of twenty-five percent (25%) of their net price to certified SBs or MBs (if applicable) are encouraged to submit bids.
