Reference Number 0000388327 Purchase Type: Duration: 2 years Option: 3/1 The purpose and intent of this invitation to bid is to select one (1) or more qualified firms capable of providing Building Official Services for various Hernando County School District property projects. The Building Official and support services are responsible for the regulatory administration and supervision of plan review, enforcement, and inspection of construction, repairs, renovations, alterations, etc. to buildings, grounds, etc. to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes in conjunction with the District Fire Official/Plans Examiner (AHJ). Projects may include, but are not limited to, new construction, remodeling, renovation, HVAC, roofing, site work, canopies, playgrounds, etc. throughout the District. The projects may include, but are not limited to educational, athletic, food services, ancillary and other functions. Projects may range in value from $0.00 to $10 million +. The services will be required for two (2) project phases: Phase 1 Plan Review and Phase 2 Construction. All firms Building Official/Plans Examiner and inspectors shall be licensed by the FL DBPR.
