Site work and paving for a civil project in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of a mill and overlay, with full-depth patching, as needed, on NW Menninger Rd. from Green Hills Rd. to Rochester Rd. Project to include removing & replacing failed culvert. DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR UNITS OF WORK: 8,853 sy 2" asphaltic concrete pavement, 607 sy 6" asphaltic concrete pavement, 542 tons asphaltic concrete patching, 72 lf 5'x5' RCB, 308 lf steel guardrail, 75 lf 12" waterline. All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. All Bids shall remain open forsixty (60) days after the day of the bid opening, but Owner may, in his sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid Security prior to that date.
