Install approximately 850 linear feet of non-metallic sheathed cable, 3 conductor 4/0 AWG copper wire with ground for 60-amp, 3 phase service. Work will be accomplished with directional boring, with minor trench work, of new cable in conduit. Terminate wiring with new equipment. Services Requested: Contractor shall provide permanent installation of a new 60-amp, 3-phase 4/0 AWG copper wire electrical feed from the power source (Generator Building) to a well pump in the following manner: Locate and flag the existing direct burial cable, which will provide the path for the new electrical feed. General mapping can be provided upon request. Bore 3-inch non-metallic conduit, underground at depth to code. Pull an additional 1.5- inch non-metallic conduit. The new electrical cable will be run in the 3-inch conduit. The 1.5-inch cable will be left empty for future use, capped off at each end. Install non-metallic sheathed cable, 3 conductor 4/0 AWG copper wire with ground for 60- amp, 3 phase service in conduit between the Generator Building and Well Pump via a new directional underground bore. Minimize trenching. Use existing breaker in Generator Building to feed transfer switch. Terminate wiring from new bored cable to breaker. Provide and install new electrical panel, wiring, switch gear, and manual transfer switch at Well Pump. Run new bored electrical feed to panel at Well Pump and terminate all wiring. When installation is complete, provide power to the Well Pump from the Generator Building and verify that the pump, wiring, and installed equipment function as intended. Must be scheduled with Project Leader (or proxy). All work is to be completed in accordance with all applicable local state and federal code requirements and that all electrical work be performed in accordance with the latest version of the National Electric Code (NEC). Haul off/dispose of any trash resulting from this work. The prospective contractor is responsible for recording all measurements, photos, and any other information necessary for developing an accurate bid for this work during their site visit. Contractor must provide any deviations from this SOW in their quote. If no deviations are noted in the quote, all installation procedures and specifications listed in this SOW will be met or exceeded by the contractor at the quoted price. Note that the contractor, subcontractor, and any other employees performing this work must comply with all station rules and regulations including, but not limited to: fishing, swimming, and weekend work are not permitted, and all employees performing this work must follow established safety guidelines. Site location: USFWS, Bears Bluff National Fish Hatchery, 7030 Bears Bluff Rd, Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, 29487. Normal working hours which are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm except for federal holidays. Work will be performed during these hours unless alternate hours are prearranged with the Contracting Officers Representative and approved by Contracting Officer. Period of Performance: Shall commence on Government's Notice to Proceed and shall not exceed thirty (30) days *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
