Renovation of a transportation facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Amtrak is currently accepting Letters of Interest for Construction Services in support of our Los Angeles Station Kiosk Relocation Project. This project consists of a relocation of 2 existing Amtrak Ticket Vending Machine Kiosks (KVM). Relocation will be approximately 100 meters from existing location on the 1st floor of Los Angeles Union Station. Relocation of 2 Amtrak ticketing kiosks approximately 50 meters from current position. Vendor will refer to the attached document on the PR for functional specs: Amtrak+V1+HW+Functional+Spec+v1.0+(2)+(2) (1).pdf Vendor to work to verify structural integrity of the new location and coring holes for necessary power/data connections. Obtain permission from property management, Morlin Asset Management, LP before beginning work. Satisfy LAUS insurance requirements, attached to the PR as LAUS_InsuranceRequirementsVendors.pdf The contractor will be required to maintain a safe and clean work site throughout the duration of the project and to ensure that any disruption to the train service is kept to an absolute minimum. All interested, qualified firms should review the attached and respond accordingly. All questions concerning this opportunity should be directed to the Procurement Agent identified in this advertisement.
